To choose a fitting noseband, place twofingers under the cheek piece. Use a tape measure to then measure around the nose.

Note: By punching a hole, 2 cm more can be gained.

Noseband around the nose hanovarian noseband

Nasenriemenumfang messen

To choose a fitting hanovarian noseband for your horse, place four fingers above the nostrils. Put a tape measure across your fingers and measure the around the whole nose. For the length of the noseband measure the bridge of the nose from mouth gap to mouth gap.

Noseband width

The noseband is 4.5cm wide in the middle. Near the hourse's mouth it is 3cm wide.
